2016 Bayside Acquisitive Art Prize

In 2015 the $15,000 Bayside Acquisitive Art Prize received over 400 entries and the prize is now on its way to being one of the most significant Municipal Art Prizes in Australia.

The 2016 Awards will be judged by an eminent panel of art experts including Kirsty Grant, Director and CEO of Heide Museum of Modern Art, Guy Abrahams, CEO and Co-founder of CLIMARTE as well as The Gallery @ BACC’s Julie Skate.

Focusing on paintings by Australian artists, the total prize pool is $19,000 including the Acquisitive Prize of $15,000, a Local Art Prize of $3,000 and the $1,000 People’s Choice Award.
