The Gallery @ BACC hosts free kids activities as part of Melbourne Now Kids on Tour program

In partnership with the National Gallery of Victoria, The Gallery @ BACC is pleased to host two fun and interactive events as part of the Melbourne Now Children’s Festival. 

Fables go Pop  
Thursday 23 January 2014   10am – 12pm

Watch bespoke shoe producer Preston Zly Design on film and then make your own paper shoes to take home!

At Home with the Hotham Street Ladies
Friday 24 January 2014   10am – 12pm

Roll up your sleeves and get creative!  Inspired by the work of unique Melbourne based food-related art collective, The Hotham Street ladies, kids can make their own specially designed placements or experiment with street tags using hundreds and thousands.  

This program provides an exciting opportunity for children and families to participate in interactive DIY activities from well-known Melbourne artists and celebrate creative Melbourne. 

Cost :    Free.  Places are limited so bookings essential.

Ages:     5-10 yrs (parents must stay and are welcome to participate)
