An estimated 15,000 people attended the Bayside ANZAC Day Dawn service at Greenpoint War Memorial in Brighton to commemorate the centenarary of the ANZAC landings at Gallipoli.

Bayside City Council Mayor Cr. Felicity Frederico said, “It was very heartening to see such a broad cross-section of the Bayside community in attendance at our ANZAC Day Dawn Service.”

“The service was conducted in conjunction with Hampton RSL, with beautiful performances from St Leonard’s College Choir and Band, creating a fitting tribute to all the men and women who have served - and continue to serve - our country.”

“On behalf of Council, I’d like to thank everyone that attended, including our many event partners and supporters, for contributing to such a moving and reflective ceremony.”
