Bayside hosts major arts and disability forum

Bayside City Council’s Arts and Culture Unit, in partnership with Metro Access and Arts Access Victoria, is gearing up to host a major arts and disability forum.  

The half-day forum will bring together arts providers, respite and disability support services, day and community centre representatives, health professionals, carers and other stakeholders from across Port Phillip, Glen Eira, Kingston and Bayside.

The forum represents a unique opportunity to open communication across the municipalities and to:
- Seek out innovative strategies to deliver increased opportunities in arts and cultural participation for people with a disability and their families.
- Identify gaps in arts programming through information sharing; and
- Develop an awareness of potential shared resources and opportunities for project collaboration across municipalities
