From 9 March, The Gallery @ BACC will be presenting an exhibition of landscapes hailing from the school of Australian Impressionism.
Two Hemispheres: Landscapes from the Alec Cato Collection, Wesley College Melbourne explores the works of 19th century Australian painters including Arthur Streeton, Frederick McCubbin, Tom Roberts, Theodore Penleigh Boyd and more, as they roamed from the local countryside to the outermost reaches of the globe.
This extraordinary collection of works is rarely available for public viewing. Floor talks led by Kenneth Park, Curator of Collections at Wesley College are scheduled to take place on Wednesday 20 March and Thursday 11 April at 11am.
