Domestic assistance
Domestic assistance provides help with house keeping tasks that are difficult to manage due to frailty or disability.
Council promotes client independence as far as possible by undertaking those tasks that are too heavy or difficult to perform.
In some circumstances, Council staff may be able to demonstrate easier, safer ways to clean so individuals remain independent for as long as possible
Domestic assistance is available Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.
Eligibility
Domestic assistance is available for residents of Bayside who are frail, aged or suffer from a permanent disability.
Costs
Fees are based on an hourly rate in accordance with your annual income. To make a payment, view the Pay a health or community care bill information.
