Sandybeach Centre

Sandybeach is a vibrant place, a warm friendly environment for people to learn new skills, find or regain their confidence, a place for people to blossom and in turn, contribute to the life and work of Sandybeach and the broader community. The Centre is fully accessible to people with limited mobility.

Bayciss – Sandringham (Bayside Community Information and Support Service)

Open Monday to Friday 10am-1pm

Bayciss provides a range of information on activities and services for Bayside residents and visitors, including free legal advice, tax information and emergency relief. The Centre encourages and supports volunteers of all abilities. The Centre is near public transport and is wheelchair friendly.

The Bayside Library Service provides extensive information and lending resources, a home visiting service (for residents who have difficulty coming into the library) and a range of activities, events, exhibitions and displays throughout the year.

There are a range of accessible resources and equipment including communication boards to assist people with complex communication needs, talking books, My Reader (auto-reader) for people with low vision, audio and large–print books.

The Sandringham Library has a number of accessible car parks close by and is wheelchair friendly.
