Respite Care provides assistance to the carers of frail older people, people suffering with dementia or a related illness and people of any age, including young children with a physical, intellectual or sensory disability.
The service provides qualified staff to undertake the role of the primary carer so they can have a break from their caring responsibilities. The service provides time for the primary carer to participate in family, social, recreational, personal or community activities.
The service is available seven days a week on a regular or occasional basis.
