Building
Without regulations and controls, building and development would be unplanned, unguided and potentially unsafe and unsatisfactory. Council take on the responsibility of ensuring developments in the city meet the statutory requirements under the Building Act and Building Regulations and that the municipality is a safe place to live.
The Building Surveying Department
To effectively carry out this role Bayside Council has a team of Building Surveyors, Building Inspectors and Administration staff that are happy to help out with any building regulatory matter from issuing building permits, conceptual advice and property information.
The Building Surveying Department has many years of experience that offer professional, flexible and affordable approach to many facets of building construction and design.
