Cone's on the indiginous allocasuarina plant

Bayside Community Nursery

The Bayside Community Nursery grows indigenous plants, grasses and trees for planting in Council's bushland, foreshore, parks and reserves and also for public sale.

Council encourages the planting of indigenous vegetation in public and private gardens by:

  • producing plants for Council use in parks, bushlands and other public places
  • providing plants for sale to residents, schools, local golf courses and landscapers.

The redeveloped Bayside Community Nursery is now open for public sales. Public sales typically operate April – Sept/Oct each year and the 2016 closing date will be advertised here.
