Being a care provider allows people to work from home (to mind children) and earn extra income.
Care providers may offer to work either full-time or part-time with a minimum of three days per week required.
Evening and weekend work is available.
Successful applicants will:
- be committed to working with children and families
- be available for orientation training prior to commencement
- be able to meet children's developmental needs
- pass a comprehensive home safety check
- have good communication skills
- undergo a satisfactory Police record and Working with Children check.
Contracted care providers become part of a team and benefit from:
- training opportunities
- ongoing support
- toy and equipment loans
- organised playgroups and other activities
