About the program

The Bayside Youth Services team run a program of exciting activities each school holidays (Tuesdays to Fridays) for young people aged 10 - 17 years old.

A range of incursions and excursions offer activities such as:

  • horse riding
  • laser skirmish
  • kayaking
  • street art tour
  • ghost tours
  • rock climbing

All activities are supervised by Council’s qualified Youth Services staff, and are mostly based from the Peterson Youth Centre (corner of Highett Road and Peterson Street, Highett).

Fees start from $30 for Bayside residents and include:

  • the activity cost
  • transport (excluding public transport)
  • healthy lunch and snacks

Council subsidises the program for Bayside residents and students that attend schools in Bayside.

For all other bookings an additional fee of $45 per activity per person applies.

Extra support is available for students with additional needs.
