X-Treme Teen is now underway! There has been a change for week 3 of activities as due to unsufficient numbers Camp has been cancelled. Instead we now present...
HOLIDAY HANG OUT @PYC ....and wait for it - each session is FREE!
Peterson Youth Centre will be open for young people to drop in, hang out and learn some life skills from Monday 19 to Thursday 22 January, 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm. Every morning there will be cooking activities, and in the afternoon renovation skills, resume writing, stress management and goal setting and fitness program.
Come for the morning, the afternoon or both!

Are you thinking about getting a job to earn some extra cash? Come and learn how to write a resume and practice your interview skills
STRESS MANAGEMENT & GOAL SETTING
School is only a few weeks away...come and learn how to relax and manage your stress to have a great year!
WORK IT OUT
Is your New Year's resolution to get fit? Come and do a sampler of the fitness program which will run during Term 1 on Wednesdays
Please note: All programs are based on a drop in model. Youth Workers will be on site to facilitate workshops and offer support, however, the activities are not traditional 'vacation care' styled activities.
Young People are able to come and go from the centre independently by using a sign in/out sheet. Workers will monitor and support participants during their time in the centre.
If you require child care. Council offers Vacation Care for children up to 12 years of age here.

Coming to the Peterson Youth Centre from Monday 9 February 2015 a new life skills program:
WHO: 10 - 17 year olds
WHERE: Peterson Youth Centre, Highett
WHEN: Mondays 4pm - 5:30pm (school terms only)
WHAT: This program offers many different life skills which include: cooking, fitness, meeting new people plus lots of fun and games!
