Lunch for businesswomen to be inspired - Tuesday 13 May 2008

AWARD-WINNING businesswoman, founder and managing director of Carman’s Fine Foods, Carolyn Creswell, will speak on how to develop a successful company at the next Bayside Women’s Business Luncheon.

‘How to build a brand from the ground up’ will be held on Tuesday 17 June 2008 at the Middle Brighton Baths (251 The Esplanade, Brighton) from 12noon to 2pm.

Bayside Mayor Councillor Andrew McLorinan said the event is an opportunity for women to network, talk to each other about their business experiences and be inspired by a successful business women.

“Carolyn has grown her business from a part-time job hand making muesli for a few Melbourne cafes, to a multinational, trusted Australian brand, spanning 21 countries, with an annual turn over fast approaching $15 million.

“I encourage Bayside business women to attend the luncheon and hear from a truly inspiring individual,” Cr McLorinan said.

For the past few years, Carman's has been named one of BRW's fastest 100 growing companies and Creswell was awarded the 2007 Ernst & Young Australian Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
 
The cost is $35 for Bayside Business Network members and $39.50 for non-members.
