Bayside City Council is embarking on a process to rejuvenate the Black Rock Village streetscapes (Bluff, Balcombe and Beach Roads) and adjacent public car parks.
The project will consider trader, resident, motorist, cyclist and visitors' needs and in particular, pedestrian safety, landscaping requirements including pavements, street furniture (seats, rubbish bins, etc) trees, together with other aspects of the streets and car parks.
The outcome of this process will be a masterplan to enable the staged upgrade of Black Rock Village streetscapes and the adjacent car parks to meet current and anticipated future needs and aspirations.

Stakeholders are invited to attend the first information gathering session to be held on Wednesday, 23 April 2008 at the Black Rock Activity Centre, 2 Karrakatta Street, Black Rock, commencing at 6.30pm.
