Expressions of Young Artists, an exhibition of works by local young artists, will be displayed in Bayside City Council’s ARTrium exhibition space from 20 April to 8 May 2009.

Bayside Mayor Councillor James Long said there were many gifted young artists in Bayside.

“The Expressions of Young Artists exhibition is a glimpse of some of the artistic talent we have in our community. A range of art pieces will be on display, from sculptures to water colour paintings.

“The exhibition is in its fourth year and gets bigger each year. Last year we had more than 90 pieces of art from a range of young people attending local primary and secondary schools, and Melbourne University.

“I encourage residents and visitors to come by the Corporate Centre and see what’s on display this year,” said Cr Long .

Expressions of Young Artists is on display in the ARTrium space in Council’s Corporate Centre (76 Royal Avenue, Sandringham) from 20 April to 8 May. Hours are 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
