FROM water and energy efficiency to shopping, cleaning and gardening – Bayside residents can get practical advice on how to reduce their environmental impacts in a series of FREE Sustainable Living Sessions.
The sessions are being held over June and July 2009 at Brighton Town Hall, the Black Rock Civic Hall and the Hampton Community Centre.
Bayside Mayor Councillor James Long said residents had told Council that they wanted more information on practical ways to reduce their environmental impacts.
“The interactive sessions are an opportunity for residents to find out how they can make small changes in their home to help themselves and the environment. I encourage residents to take advantage of the free sessions,” Cr Long said.
Participants will receive a sustainable living starter kit containing products to help them along their sustainable journey.
Residents who attend two or more sessions will go into the draw to win $250 worth of sustainable living products.
