The project

Bayside City Council is planning to refurbish the existing skate park at Peterson Reserve by providing additional skate furniture.  All the skate park work will be confined to the existing concrete footprint of the skate park.

The skate park works will include

• removal and replacement of damaged pavement
• removal of existing steel rail
• installation of skate ledge concrete and new grind rail
• additional seating
• installation of low half bank concrete
• installation of new shade tree plantings.

Project timing

Council proposes to commence construction and complete associated works by August 2008.
