Elsternwick Park skate park additions
 Bayside City Council is planning to upgrade the existing skate park in Elsternwick Park.
The Stage 1 skate park works include:
- construction of feature pavement,
- installation of modular steel skate equipment,
- additional seating,
- installation of new shade tree plantings,
- installation of 1.2m fence and low ground cover planting between the skate park and parkland.
A concept design of these improvements is available for viewing.
Stage 1 works will be undertaken during the 2008/09 financial year.
Stage 2 improvements are included as a proposal only and represent possible future works. Implementing Stage 2 will be dependent on Council funds and will be subject to community consultation including targeted feedback from skate park and reserve users.
