The Donald MacDonald Reserve facilities are currently being redeveloped.  Recently the pavilion extension was completed together with provision of a public toilet for the disabled. Construction of a junior skate facility is also proposed for the reserve.

A final consultation with the Beaumaris community will take place later this year regarding the design and location of the facility. 

Construction of the skate facility is scheduled to commence during the latter part of 2009.
