The road resurfacing works are part of Bayside's program to maintain and improve roads throughout the municipality.

Scope of works

The works will involve preparation works followed by the asphalt overlay of existing road surfaces.

Timing of works

• The program commences in October 2009 and proceeds throughout the summer months until mid March 2010.
• Generally roadworks are carried out (weather permitting) from Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am and 5pm.

Parking and access

In order to minimise inconvenience, it is requested that cars are not parked in the vicinity of barricaded or clearly marked areas of work to allow access and operation of machinery and trucks.

Advice to residents

Residents who may be impacted by the road resurfacing program will be advised by letter prior to commencement of the works in their street.
