During his career as a consultant/researcher, Michael Norris MA MSc advised on the economics of deepening ports, management statistics, spending on services for older people, spatial planning, local government organisation, human resource management, community/government partnerships, natural environment policies, reorganisation of the electricity industry, court cases and inter-governmental relations.
As a Bayside Councillor since 2005, he as served on the communities of a playgroup, community centre, school and local amenity society. His passion is our natural heritage and he led campaigns in the UK and in Bayside. He still volunteers his time to help care for Bayside's heathlands, foreshore and wildlife.
His family connections with Bayside go back over 50 years and his wife and children attended local schools. He is a member of several local organisation reflecting life time interests in sports and the environment, and his increasing concern over the last 30 years about climate change.
