Simon Russell

Simon Russell has lived in Bayside for over 50 years, and is a small business owner. He is married to Linda and has one teenager and two adult children.

Simon served on the Council of the former City of Sandringham from 1990-1994 and Mayor of the former City in 1994. He was first elected to Bayside in 1997 and was re-elected in 2000. He was elected Mayor of the City for 2001/02.

He has represented the community on many advisory/steering groups and is in-touch with community needs; he is an advocate for local community organisations within the City.
