Approvals Committee Guidelines

Name: Approvals Committee
Classification: Adopted Committee of Council
Delegation: The full delegated authority of Council to finally determine upon all statutory and urban planning matters.
Scope: To deal with all matters relating to statutory and urban planning and associated matters.

Membership and Chairperson: All Councillors, Cr del Porto is Chair. Chairperson elected annually.

Stakeholder Staff Representatives: CEO, Corporate Manager Sustainability, Manager Planning Building and Investigations, Governance Manager, Senior Planners.
Current or Anticipated Role of Staff Member in the Committee, Working Group etc: To take minutes, prepare agendas and provide any supplementary information as appropriate.
Meeting Frequency: Twice a month.
Timeline for Involvement: Ongoing.

Review Date: 1 December 2005.

Accountability of Committee and Committee Members: Full delegation of Council.
Reporting Requirement: Minutes of meetings.
Any other relevant information (eg. venue, who resources): Council Chambers. Manager Planning & Building.
