The experience of the natural world stimulates a slippage of thought between past and present, between the real and imaginary. 'Heading South' is a series of paintings on canvas and paper inspired by the Bayside foreshore, which investigate colour relationships, gesture and abstract composition.
Through her art, Stacey has produced a dynamic exploration of family, documenting the innumerable meanings and perceptions of family. Her focus ranges from broad to specific, and narrowing to answer the question 'what makes family?' Location:
