Bayside Writing Competition
This year’s competition will launch in Library and Information Week in May.

Closing Date: 4pm, Tuesday 31 July 2012
Categories
There are three categories for students, and two that are open to all ages. So get involved, and find out more about how to enter!
Student categories
Students aged 10 years and older, who live, work or go to school in the Bayside municipality, are encouraged to enter. There are three student categories based on age.
Student prizes
Prizes include $250 worth of books or a $250 book voucher, depending on the category entered, with the winning student’s school receiving the same prize.
Open age categories
Writers and poets of all ages can enter the Bayside Writers and Bayside Poets categories.
Open age prizes
Each have prizes of $450 (with a special $300 prize for both Bayside Writers and Bayside Poets - which can only be won by local Bayside residents).
