Foreshore Club Parking Permits

What is a Foreshore Club parking permit?

Foreshore Club parking permits allow the permit holder to park along the foreshore in paid parking zones without paying the relevant fee. Time restrictions must still be adhered to. Foreshore Club permits are valid for 12 months. Renewal notices are sent approximately 4-6 weeks prior to the permit expiry date.

Who is eligible for a Foreshore Club parking permit?

Foreshore Club parking permits are available to members of approved clubs/associations which operate at or along the foreshore within Council boundaries. Applications for Foreshore Club permits are endorsed by the club/association to which the applicant belongs.

Applications which are not endorsed by an approved club/association will not be accepted.

What does a Foreshore Club parking permit exempt me from?

Vehicles displaying a valid Foreshore Club permit are not required to purchase a ticket at paid parking locations designated on the permit only. All time restrictions must still be adhered to.

(Please note that holding a current Foreshore Club Parking Permit does not guarantee that a parking space will be available in the designated car park).

How much does it cost?

Foreshore Club parking permit fee - $192.00. (Permit costs are annual and subject to change without notice)

How to Apply

  • Complete the application form (PDF, 222KB)
  • Have the application form endorsed by your club/association
  • Submit your completed application form with payment to council
  • Applications must be submitted complete with all required information and payment. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Club Endorsement

An employee of the club or association must complete part 2 of the application form. The following details are required from the club/association employee:

  • Name of Club/Association
  • Name of employee endorsing the application
  • Club position held by the employee (ie secretary, treasurer, president etc)
  • Signature
  • Club stamp or seal.

If the club stamp/seal is missing from the application form the application will not be accepted. All details must be provided or the application will be considered incomplete.

Application process

Once a completed application is submitted, Parking Permit Administration will commence processing your application.

When the processing is complete the council will mail out your permit. Please allow 5-10 working days for your permit to arrive.

When does coverage commence?

Foreshore Club parking permits offer no coverage until the permit is received and displayed. Once the application has been approved, please allow 5-10 working days for the permit to arrive.
