Making a submission
The period for submissions is now closed.
All submissions and information provided at the Hearing will be treated as public documents.
A public hearing is scheduled for the week starting Monday 20 October 2014.
The hearing will take up to five days dependent on number of submitters wishing to speak.
Details of the hearing will be confirmed closer to the date and will be advised by Planning Panels.
Role of the Advisory Committee
The Minister for Planning has appointed an independent advisory committee, known as the Residential Zones Standing Advisory Committee (RZSAC), to consider the application of the Residential Growth Zone in these areas. The RZSAC process is conducted by Planning Panels Victoria. The role of the Committee is to:
- Give submitters an opportunity to be heard by an independent body in an informal, non-judicial manner; and
- Give independent advice to the Minister for Planning as outlined in the Terms of Reference.
