Paying by instalments
If you are paying by instalments, the first instalment is due by 30 September 2016. Payments received after this date will be treated as part payments only, and will require that your rates are paid in full by 15 February 2017. Reminder notices will be sent for instalment payers only.
Pensioners with the appropriate concession cards are eligible for a rebate of up to 50% of rates and charges up to a maximum of $268.30 per year. Note the rebate is only applicable where the property is the sole or principal place of residence of the applicant.
If you hold a Veterans' Affairs Gold Card, Extreme Disablement Adjustment (EDA) or Prisoners of War (POW) Gold Card you can also apply for a municipal rates concession by submitting this form from Human Services.

Pay your Council rates securely online by credit card (Visa or MasterCard only). Please note payments made by Visa or Mastercard will be subject to a 0.47% surcharge.
Direct debit allows your rates to be debited from your savings or cheque account on the due date. Credit cards not accepted. There are three payment options available:
Option 1: A total of nine direct debits can be made from October to June or alternatively;
Option 2: Four instalments as specified on your annual rate notice;
Option 3: Full payment on 15 February each year
If selecting Option 3, please supply a mobile number (above) to receive an SMS reminder prior to payment. No SMS reminder will be sent for options 1 or 2.

Contact your participating bank or credit union by phone or internet using biller code 7872. Alternatively register for B-Pay View and receive, pay and store bills in your online banking account.
Pay at any Australia Post or affiliated agency. Cash, cheque, EFTPOS accepted. Credit card payments are NOT available via Australia Post outlets. Alternatively you can make your rate payment online via the Australia Post Digital Mailbox service.
