Area 1

Between Fourth Street and the McGregor Avenue ramp:

Peak period 1 November - 31 March

  • dogs are prohibited between 10am and 7.30pm,  and
  • dogs are permitted on leash between 7.30pm and 10am.

Off Peak period 1 April - 31 October 

  • dogs are permitted on leash at all times.

All inter-tidal rock platforms within the Ricketts Point Marine Sanctuary:

  • dogs are prohibited at all times.

Area 2

Rickett's Point (McGregor Av ramp to disabled ramp at southern end of carpark B17)

  • Off Leash Area

Rickett’s Point Marine Sanctuary Foreshore area between the McGregor Avenue ramp and the disabled ramp at the southern end of the Beaumaris Yacht Club car park (B17):

  • dogs are permitted off leash at all times.

All inter-tidal rock platforms within the Ricketts Point Marine Sanctuary:

  • dogs are prohibited at all times.

Area 3

Rickett’s Point Marine Sanctuary Foreshore area between the disabled ramp at the southern end of the Beaumaris Yacht Club car park (B17) and the Beaumaris Life Saving Club:

Peak period 1 November - 31 March

  • dogs are prohibited between 10am and 7.30pm,  and
  • dogs are permitted on leash between 7.30pm and 10am.

Off Peak period 1 April - 31 October

  • dogs are permitted off leash at all times.

All inter-tidal rock platforms within the Ricketts Point Marine Sanctuary:

  • dogs are prohibited at all times.

Area 4

Rickett’s Point Marine Sanctuary Foreshore area between the area south of the Beaumaris Life Saving Club and Dalgetty Road:

Peak period 1 November - 31 March

  • dogs are prohibited between 10am and 7.30pm,  and
  • dogs are permitted off leash between 7.30pm and 10am.

Off Peak period 1 April - 31 October

  • dogs are permitted off leash at all times.

All inter-tidal rock platforms within the Ricketts Point Marine Sanctuary:

  • dogs are prohibited at all times.

Area 5

Rickett’s Point Marine Sanctuary Foreshore area between Dalgetty Road and the Sea Scouts Boat Ramp:

Peak period 1 November - 31 March

  • dogs are prohibited between 10am and 7.30pm,  and
  • dogs are permitted on leash between 7.30pm and 10am.

Off Peak period 1 April - 31 October

  • dogs are permitted on leash at all times.

All inter-tidal rock platforms within the Ricketts Point Marine Sanctuary:

  • dogs are prohibited at all times.
