How parking fines are collected

A parking fine - officially called an 'Infringement Notice' - may be handed to you, left on your car windscreen or you may recieve a notice in the mail.

You have 42 days to pay the fine.

To pay a parking fine, visit the Payments section of the website.

Failure to pay or take any other action within 42 days will result in extra costs being added to the fine.

If you believe there is a good reason for you not to pay the fine, you can:

Ask for the fine to be withdrawn
Have the case heard by a Court
