A range of venues and facilities are available for community use, including local halls, parks and sporting grounds, leisure and recreation centres, community centres and playhouses, theatres and cinemas, community markets, public barbecues and picnic facilities.

Booking Council venues

Weddings: Bayside is home to scenic spaces and grand heritage buildings set in beautiful public gardens. View the wedding guide or application forms for more information.
Casual open space bookings: If you are planning an event in Bayside parks, reserves or foreshore (and expect more than 50 people to attend or plan on bringing equipment or structures) you will need to apply for a booking. For more information, visit the Booking Council Faciliites section of the website.
Filming permits: View the Filming and photography application form and terms and conditions.
Council halls: Council manages the use of the Black Rock Civic Centre, Beaumaris Community Centre and the Brighton Town Hall. For information about how to book these buildings, visit the Booking Council Facilities section of the website.
Commercial fitness and health providers: To manage the use of these natural assets in a sustainable, safe manner that maintains community access and amenity, all commercial fitness and health providers who wish to use Council open space will need to apply for a permit.
