Art collection

Bayside City Council has an extensive Art and Heritage Collection with over 1,000 items including paintings, works on paper, ceramics, glass, textiles, mosaics, furniture and sculpture.

Artworks and heritage objects are displayed in Council's Corporate Centre, The Gallery @ BACC and heritage buildings such as Billilla and Black Rock House.

The Gallery @ BACC is an eligible participant in the Australian Government’s Cultural Gifts Program. This program encourages Australians to donate items of cultural significance from private collections to public art galleries, museums, libraries and archives.
