Royal Melbourne's two courses, the East Course and the West Course, are each ranked amongst the best in the world.
Royal Melbourne has hosted numerous national and international events, most famously the 1959 Canada Cup, and the 1970 World Cup.
It was selected by the PGA Tour to hold the Presidents Cup for the first time outside the United States in December 1998.
The Club will also host the Presidents Cup in 2011.
A combination of holes from each course is called the Composite Course and in 2007 Golf Digest magazine ranked the Composite Course as the sixth best course in the world outside the United States.
Visitors should be from an interstate or overseas recognised golf club, with a current membership identification card and a letter of introduction written from the home club.

The Victoria Golf Club is one of Australia’s finest golf clubs, ranked among the Top 10 courses and host of countless major tournaments including the 2002 Australian Open Championships.
The beautifully landscaped par 72 course is designed to challenge both the amateur and professional golfer and was the host club for the 2002 Australian Open Championship.
The Club’s Clubhouse has 15 spacious and comfortably appointed rooms, each with full ensuite facilities, for residential accommodation. Each room also offers views of the grounds and the course.

Brighton Golf Club has approximately 350-400 members affiliated with the Victorian Golf League and Victorian Women’s Golf League.
Weekly competitions are organised each Saturday and Wednesday, and we have Ladies, Men, Juniors and Seniors competing in Pennant competitions during the season.
The original Clubhouse has since been enlarged and is now fully licensed, providing excellent facilities for our members.

Sandringham Golf Club is an inexpensive way to enjoy regular competitive golf with a handicap that is recognised nationally and internationally.
Sandringham Golf Club is a private club whose members play on the Sandringham Golf Links.
The Club conducts a competition every Saturday morning, its members hitting off from first light until midday or thereabouts
In addition to the regular stroke, par and stableford events there are a number of major events each year

Cheltenham golf club is located in Victoria's wonderful sandbelt golf region, just 30 minutes from the CBD.
A pocket of nature in an urban environment, the golf course is a haven for local birdlife and it's wonderful hills, fairways and greens are enjoyed by all.
The course offers:
- a challenging 18 hole course for the average golfer,
- a 13th tee, which is also the highest point in the locality, and offers views over the bay,
- a fully stocked pro shop with demonstration clubs and fittings; and
- member and junior competitions.
The main entrance to the club is in Victor Ave (off Weatherall Road) during the day. This entrance is opened at 7.00am and is closed at dusk each evening.

Open 7 days per week, the Sandringham Driving Range is fully floodlit and provides excellent golf practice facilities in the heart of the Bayside Sandbelt
Golfers of all skill levels are enabled and encouraged to master every facet of the game over a 250 meter range with 5 target greens.
The range boasts 30 undercover driving bays; outdoor grass tee positions for at least 20 golfers; a manicured championship practice and putting green; a short game area for pitching practice and Swing Vision automated video kiosk
The range also features Junior, Senior, Mens and Ladies individual golf lessons and clinics; group golf clinics; and a fully licensed cafe.
