Facilitated by artist Annette Chang, the workshops coincide with her exhibition Shopping Net at ARTrium Exhibition Space.

Set to take place during the moon festival beginning 15 September, Annette intends to engage participants in a way that celebrates familial bond and togetherness. At the same time, Annette hopes that greater appreciation of what the earth has provided us will result through the use of everyday products, emphasizing the important role nature has in our lives. These workshops will involve using a scalpel knife. If children are participating in this workshop, a parent or adult must be present.  Children will not be allowed to use scalpel knives. Adults are to complete the cut out and carving at the start and the end of the process. The children can draw the design and use metal spoon to scoop out the flesh of fruit and vegetable.
