Bright 'n' Sandy Food and Wine Festival

A wine demonstrationThe fourth annual The Bright 'n' Sandy Food and Wine Festival is brighter than ever. On Sunday 24 February 2008, 11am – 6pm beautiful Green Point, Brighton will shine in celebration of the best of Bayside and beyond.

Gourmet cuisine demonstrations hosted by Allan Campion will include supremely talented local chef Daniel Airoldi of the French Corner Restaurant, Phillippa's Bakery specialty breads and a guest appearance from Frank Camorra of MoVida.

Cloudwine and Peninsula wineries will demonstrate the art of premium wine tasting, and Arno Backes former Head Chocolatier from Koko Black will make mouths water with his chocolate presentations.

New for 2008 are children’s cooking sessions and culinary literary adventures with local author of Pete the (purple flying) Pig. All this and the cream of vibrant entertainment, is set to swinging rhythms featuring celebrated Australian singer/songwriter Deborah Conway.

Entry by $2 gold coin donation.

A free bus service will pick up and drop off at a number of places around Bayside.  We encourage visitors to use the free bus or catch public transport, walk or cycle as parking is strictly limited.  The Sandringham Line will deliver you to Brighton Beach Station which is just across the road.  Stay tuned as a timetable will be published.
