Fireworks debris
Council anticipates that fireworks debris will fall within the exclusion zone, our contractor will take into consideration the prevailing winds but in some instances floating debris will be taken out of this zone. Council will undertake a thorough clean up at Dendy Park but if local residents identify excessive debris in the area please contact the Events Officer on 9599 4444 or email events@bayside.vic.gov.au or complete a 'more information request' and identify the problem and location. Council will endeavour to attend to these instances as soon as possible.
Pet care
To ensure that this event is as safe and enjoyable as possible it is necessary for pets to be well cared for at home, pets are not allowed on-site. More than 20,000 visitors may be on-site and the fireworks can be very upsetting for many animals. As always if you live close by its necessary to ensure pets are secure and monitored during the fireworks display.
