Waste

Council is committed to waste minimisation, recycling and litter reduction.  Residents are encouraged to use the range of kerbside waste management services including garbage, recycling, green waste, hard waste and bundled branches collections.

Residents are also encouraged to use home composting or worm farms to reduce the amount of organic waste going to landfill.

The role of Council's Waste Education Officer is to assist with implementation of the Waste Wise Education Program developed by EcoRecycle Victoria.

Advice is available that will help your business, school or household to reduce waste and save cost. For more information please contact Bayside's Waste Education Officer on 9599 4444.

The Waste Management section of our website provides you with a great deal of information about Council's waste management services and policies.

If you can't find the information you're after, please don't hesitate to contact us.
