Bayside Waste and Recycling Centre

Opening hours:

• 8am to 4pm (seven days a week except Christmas Day, Good Friday and New Years Day).

Bayside residents can dispose the following recycling materials free of charge by sorting and placing materials in the correct area at the Waste and Recycling Centre:

• aluminium cans
• car batteries
• glass containers
• liquid paperboard
• motor and hydraulic oil (a small fee of 30 cents per litre applies)
• paper/cardboard
• recyclable plastic
• scrap metal/white goods
• steel cans
• wine bottle corks

Materials not accepted:

• asbestos
• chemicals
• paint
