Bayside's Waste & Recycling Centre provides a convenient facility for your disposal of waste and recyclables.

Open 7 Days 8:00am until 4:00pm.
Closed Christmas Day, Good Friday and New Years Day.

Recyclable materials accepted:

  • Aluminium cans
  • Glass containers
  • Car batteries
  • Steel cans
  • Paper/cardboard
  • Recyclable plastic
  • Liquid paperboard
  • Wine bottle corks
  • Scrap metal/white goods
  • Green waste
  • LPG Gas Bottles

Materials suitable for recycling (with the exception of green waste and motor and hydraulic oil) can be disposed of at no charge provided they are sorted and placed in the correct areas.

Materials not accepted:

  • Chemicals
  • Paint
  • Asbestos

Did you know?

LPG gas bottles are now accepted at the Waste and Recycling Centre! Bayside City Council in conjunction with the South Eastern Regional Waste Management Group has arranged for the collection and refurbishment/recycling of expired LPG gas bottles through the Swap-N-Go. The bottles are accepted free of charge providing they are placed in the correct area.

You can also recycle your motor and hydraulic oil at the Waste and Recycling Centre.  A small fee of 30 cents per litre will apply.  This oil is recycled into new products.  Please contact Copper Rock Investments on 9585 4385 for more information.
