Bin Placement

Garbage and recycling or green waste bins should be put out the night before collection day. Your bins should be placed at the kerbside next to your driveway in a clear, unobstructed area, with wheels and handles facing your property.

• Put the bins at least one metre apart
  
• Do not put your bin behind a parked car, close to over hanging branches, or too close to power poles or street signs.
  
• The bin lid must be closed - overfull bins will not be collected and can cause litter problems on our streets.
