Amendment C174bays
The Amendment applies the Heritage Overlay to 38 Grosvenor Street, Brighton on a permanent basis. An Interim Heritage Overlay, which applied to the property, expired on 30 October 2020.
Amendment C174bays implements the recommendations of the heritage assessment undertaken on behalf of Council, which found the house to be of historical and aesthetic significance for the reasons outlined in the citation.
Where are we up to?
Amendment C174bays has been approved by the Minister for Planning and was gazetted to form part of the Bayside Planning Scheme on 30 October 2020. As such, Amendment C174bays has been completed and the changes to planning controls implemented by the Amendment are now in place, replacing the interim controls on the property.
