This amendment has been prepared by Bayside City Council who is the planning authority for this amendment.
The Amendment seeks to apply the Heritage Overlay to 38 Grosvenor Street, Brighton on a permanent basis. The current Heritage Overlay on the property has been applied on an interim basis, with those controls set to expire in October 2020.
Amendment C174bays implements the recommendations of the heritage assessment undertaken on behalf of Council, which found the house to be of historical and aesthetic significance for the reasons outlined in the citation.
