Legacy: As noted in the guidelines, the resident artist may donate an artwork or similar to the Bayside City Council collection. This potential donation will be subject to Bayside City Council's acquisition procedures and hence the donation of the artwork produced during the residency or documentary material recording the residency.  Donations of this nature have the capacity to make an important contribution to the collection and become a beneficial resource for the community.

Additionally, Bayside City Council with assistance from the artist will compile an Artist in Residence archive that includes documentation and photos produced over the residency period that illustrates the artist and their involvement with the program.
