Your rates payment options

A range of payment options and payment methods are available to Bayside, Victorian ratepayers.

Annual rate notices are issued by mid August.

The current annual rate notice is for the period 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024.

Payment options:

Payment option 1: Paying by instalments

The due dates are the same every year and are listed on your annual notice:

  • 30 September
  • 30 November
  • 28 February
  • 31 May

To pay by instalments you must make the first payment by 30 September.

If you miss the 30 September payment date, any payments received will be treated as a part payment only and the remaining amount will be due 15 February.

Reminder notices are sent to instalment payers only. It is important that you make the first payment by 30 September to receive any further instalment notices.

Instalment notices are issued 2 weeks prior to the due date.
