If YES, the application will be referred to one of our traffic engineers for comment. New crossings within 9m will generally not be approved. Make sure the intersection is included in the diagram.

If YES, the application will be referred to one of our arboriculture officers for comment. The tree is to be clearly indicated on the plan and the dimension from the nearest edge of its trunk.

In accordance with the Policy, Crossings up to 4.5m will only be considered for dwellings with double garages within 5.5m of the front setback. The proposed vehicle crossing width needs to be included in the plan.

Will the proposed vehicle crossing be within 1m of another crossing or adjoining an adjacent property’s crossing?* *

If YES, a 1m separator is generally required in between the new and neighboring crossing. Consent from our traffic engineers is required for the adoption of a separator-less than 1m wide. Both the new and adjoining crossing must be accurately plotted on the plan.
