Joining Zoom events

The majority of events will be presented over Zoom. To access Zoom you will need a computer, tablet or smartphone and internet connection.

  • To join a Zoom event, click on the link in the email that was provided to you by the event organiser. Each event will have its own unique zoom link.
  • It is good practice to join the event 5–10 minutes prior to the event starting to allow time should you have difficulties connecting.

We thank the various community groups who have opened their ‘online’ doors to welcome seniors to join in their activities.

The festival aims to acknowledge and celebrate older residents and the valuable contribution they make to Bayside. We want people to have fun whilst connecting to their community.

    The Boyds in Bayside

Australia's pre-eminent artistic dynasty, the Boyds, have a deep connection to Bayside and surrounds since the 1890's. In 1913 the purchase of property they called Open Country, in nearby Murrumbeena, coalesced a multi-generational and multi-disciplined artistic odyssey. Whilst Murrumbeena became famed for its pottery studio, cousins Arthur (a painter) and Robin (an architect), left further indelible marks on Bayside with their acclaimed works. Jamie Paterson, of the Robin Boyd Foundation and Beaumaris Modern, presents a pictorial celebration of this artistic and architectural legacy
