Christmas calendar of connections

While many of us are looking forward to holiday celebrations with family and friends, others will find the festive season a difficult time.

Sometimes the simplest of gestures can make a big impact:

  • Go to a local café for a cuppa and chat
  • Suggest a walk and talk in the local neighbourhood or nearby park
  • Drop off a meal
  • Handmake a card or small gift
  • Extend an invitation to someone who will be alone on Christmas Day.

If holiday season stress is getting too much for you or someone you know please contact us at 9599 4444 or email relief@bayside.vic.gov.au.

Please note Council is closed on weekends and public holidays. For 24 hours, 7 days a week help, call
Beyond Blue on 1300 22 4636, or Lifeline on 13 11 14.
