Looking after the Brighton Dunes (Dr Jim Willis Reserve) by the modified Bradley Method (no poison, natural bush regeneration).
We do not use poisons because of the incalculable long-term effects on the plants, reptiles, soil and small mammals. We believe that our small area, as the last fairly large indigenous area in Brighton, is of enormous value. The kilometre of dunes and tea tree is the largest continuous midden in Port Phillip Bay.
Outdoor work, i.e. weeding and planting on Tuesdays 8:00am-10:00am
