Bayside Climate Emergency Grants

We invite local not-for-profit groups that contribute to making Bayside a better place to live to apply for a Bayside Climate Emergency Grant.

The Bayside City Council Climate Emergency Grants provide funding of up to $5,000 for activities, events, projects, and programs which support and enable action to address the Climate Emergency in Bayside and the reduction of greenhouse gas emission levels.

Council's Bayside Climate Emergency Grant program aims to:

  • To support community action on the Climate Emergency, in alignment with the themes of the Climate Emergency Action Plan 2020-2025
  • To assist community organisations to establish, extend and improve programs and services that address local needs.
  • To encourage voluntary activity, community participation and the contribution of local groups and organisations to community life.
  • To promote community development and partnership opportunities to address community needs.

Grants of up to $5,000 each are considered for initiatives by eligible community groups that meet the objectives of Council's Grants Policy and the Bayside Climate Emergency Grant guidelines (below).
