The next stage of improvements at Dendy Park kicks off this week with the start of the car park upgrade.
The car park works are part of Council’s $5 million upgrade of sport and recreation facilities at Dendy Park to support residents to live healthy, active lifestyles.
The works include resurfacing and landscaping of the car park adjacent to the new pavilion. The car park will be asphalted with lines marked, providing safer, more accessible parking for park users.
Car park works will take approximately 20 weeks and are being staged to reduce the impact on visitor parking. A section of the car park will remain open throughout.
Council is also working with the Dendy Park sports clubs to minimise cars parking in adjacent residential streets.
If you are attending a sports game at Dendy Park, please consider car-pooling or walking/riding to the Park.
Dendy Park visitors are also encouraged to be considerate of residents when parking in local streets.
